• Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your username, email address, and a hashed password. You may optionally provide a bio and profile picture.
• Content You Create: Writs, articles, comments, votes, and any other content you post.
• Usage Data: Basic analytics (pages visited, actions taken) to improve the service. We do NOT use third‑party tracking cookies.
• Log Data: IP addresses and browser type are temporarily logged for security and rate limiting, then deleted.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve WriteZone.
• To communicate with you about your account or important updates.
• To protect the security and integrity of our platform.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We never sell your personal information to third parties. Ever.

3. Content Visibility & Control

Your profile and public posts are visible to other users and may appear in search engines. You can delete your content at any time. Deleted content is permanently removed from our active database (though backups may retain it temporarily).

4. Cookies

WriteZone uses only essential cookies to keep you logged in and protect your account. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and content until you delete your account. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights
